De León is a Philly-born, NJ-raised DJ and producer with Colombian and German roots. Classically trained in violin and a former heavy metal guitarist (A Darkened Reflection), he brings that same intensity and musicality to the underground Philadelphia techno scene.
Working across vinyl and CDJs, De León is known for his energy, treating the mixer as an instrument in its own right. His sets are highly technical, built on phrasing manipulation, rhythmic variation, and sonic contrast.
Delay, filter, and reverb aren't just transitions-they're tools he uses to reshape structure, bend time, and carve out unexpected space on the dancefloor.
His sound is groove-heavy and percussive-driven by obscure cuts, major-key stabs, '90s synths, and flashes of nostalgic vocals. Hard and driving, but full of bounce and soul.
